To take part in our events, you need to have received a lifesaving transplant as follows:
Kidney, liver, heart, lung(s), pancreas or have received a bone marrow / stem cell transplant from a third party.
Why Join?
We encourage members to participate in activities throughout the year. The annual highlight is the British Transplant Games which range from those seeking to set new transplant records to most athletes who just enjoy participating and doing their best.
Transplant Active events provide a great opportunity for transplant recipients and their supporters to get together with others who have been through similar health experiences. Lifelong friendships are formed.
As active transplant recipients, you are the best advert for the success of donation. All our events strive to increase the numbers of registered donors and emphasise the importance of letting loved ones know about the decision to be a registered donor.
How to Join?
Either register for the Transplant Games or fill in our membership form and your details will be passed on to your Hospital Team Manager. He or she will keep you updated on all the latest activities taking place.
